I have a ring that has six diamonds in it and I would like to get the diamonds put in a new setting. I need to buy the setting, get the diamonds removed from the old setting, and then placed in the new setting. Does anyone have any ideas how much this would cost?

ROD
it all depends, getting the diamond out isn’t the difficult part but setting a diamond takes more time. the cost of a setting also depends on the metal you use and the way you want the diamond to be reset.
HARMONY
Very hard to say but a very approximate setting cost per stone (.15pt round stone or smaller) would be $15 – $20ea in a prong setting. Removing and Resetting multiple stones may have a discounted price depending on the jeweler you take it to.
Good Luck!
Hi,Do you know where I can find a reliable jeweler to re-set my stones? Pls email me. Thanks
