HARRIET

Go to bluenile.com and compare characteristics there. That is a good site to learn about diamonds. As far as price you can compare the price of the earrings to the prices there. Diamond prices are affected by the three Cs, cut-color-clarity.

The best quality diamonds are certified-it sounds nice but you might want to ask if it is a certified piece..I had that with my engagement ring-and made sure it was certified..They sound beautiful by the way!

EDDY

No, this is crap... I1 means industrial grade. H may appear slightly off-white in a white gold mount.

Clarity isn't whether it sparkles - that's cut... clarity is whether or not it's got chunks of carbon in it (or other inclusions). The clarity can be "Flawless" F, or "Very Very Slightly Included" VVS, or "Very Slightly Included" VS, or "Slightly Included", or "Included" - this one is I... it is included... it isn't good.

Color can be D, E, F, G, H, I.... With "D" being colorless, and each step being slightly more color... once you get to "H" you'll probably think it's a little yellow in a white gold mount.
