Is getting a CE (clarity enhanced ) diamond the best way to get a real diamond, but cheaper?

   your cheaper diamonds are commercial grade diamonds and unless your girlfriend is a diamond expert she want be able to tell…Fredmans is a good place to buy a nice diamond gift without it costing you a new car price…

   I’m not too sure about those lab created diamonds but I recently found out and read about LifeGem.

   Anyways, here’s what it says on the site:

   I’m not sure if you will like this but I thought it was really interesting and sweet. A good idea to keep in mind if, knock on wood, one day someone close to your or her heart passes away. Good luck with your search!

   P.S. I find it really admirable that you know and are making an active effort to not purchase blood diamonds.

   It would enable you to give a very eye appealing diamond and get more bang for you buck. The inclusions are filled by a process that makes them less noticable. You can tell by looking at the stone with a loupe but not the naked eye.Since the diamond has been treated, there will be extra care that will have to be given to the diamond, and the diamond would never be able to be re-cut into another shape. There is nothing wrong with it, but you would want to discuss it with your fiance.

   The only thing I know about clarity enhanced diamonds is that they zap them with lasers to get rid of some of the occlusions. Supposedly, only a gemologist can tell if a diamond has been enhanced or not. So you and your fiancee will not be able to tell just by looking at it.

   Another alternative is Moissanite. They are lab created, but holding them up next to a real diamond, there is no difference to the naked eye. They are also about half the price for a diamond of the same size.

   If you are dealing with a reliable jewelry store, they will not use the “blood” diamonds. So go to a good jewelry store and find that rock for your girl. We do love our diamonds.

   You can get a diamond from Canada that does not have conflict. If you want a synthetic diamond Moisenite is the best. Not sure if that is how it is spelled.
