Is there really a huge difference in the certified colorless diamonds compared to say I-J classification?? I say this because I am looking at two rings 1,300 difference for colorless compared to the I-J

Colorless diamonds are D-F; near-colorless are G-J, with I-J being at the bottom of the scale, obviously. Noticeable color is anything below J…

To the average Joe there will probably not be that much difference between a D-F or an I-J… since “noticeable” color is something below J. But studying it very closely, yes you would be able to tell a difference, but not huge.

I personally don’t think colorless is worth an extra $1,300… I’m a much bigger fan of clarity than color.
